Mission Statement
The VSMO is a registered 501(c)(3) Public Charity committed to developing a public skateboarding facility in Vernon, New Jersey. The skatepark will be open to the general public and free of charge. The VSMO was created by members of the local community who are skateboard advocates. The Sussex county area is lacking a quality skatepark. It is our goal to provide youth a safe place to enjoy their sport. We are reaching out to members of the community along with local businesses for assistance. The VSMO is seeking donations in the form of monetary funds, labor, services, gifts, merchandise, and materials. 100% of the donations we receive will be used to finance and construct the skatepark.
Our Dream
Its our dream to construct a world class skateboarding facility that will suite the needs of any skateboarder. From beginner to expert, from street stylists to vert dog, from euro gaps up marble ledges to pool coping on oververt, from pump bumps to just plain flat concrete, we would like to accommodate everyone. A place that could bring skateboarders and the community together.
